Page Suggestions

Splash Page - not recommended
  Splash pages are an introductory page to your Web site, often containing a flash animation that is really more bravado than good sense. It can be very pretty and get those “oohs and aahs” you might be after but it delays entry into your site (worse yet, returning customers must ‘click thru’ it each time they return). If you really want an animation and a few rotating words consider commissioning a smaller version animation in the Home Page header without delaying the users’ consumption of hard content - and then do not include it on subsequent pages as it may delay loading or take up valuable web page real estate.

Home Page - mandatory
  Your home page should tell people who you are in 300 words or less (got more to tell - use an ‘About Us’ page), our society is quickly becoming one of “instant gratification” and if you don’t deliver they will click off in a hurry. This page typically holds your mission statement, basically: what you do, why you do it, and the integrity you do it with.

About Us - optional, yet highly recommended
  Establishing a deeper rapport while delivering specifics about you is what your About Us page is all about, giving you the opportunity to introduce your team, tell a bit about your history, anything you feel increases your credibility and affability.

Contact Us - optional, yet highly recommended
  A contact page should typically have your location, your hours, your phone numbers and email all in one place. While these pieces of information are already strategically placed within your site design, having it all in one place makes it easy for your customers to access, print, or copy and paste the information into their own Organizers.  A form is another industry standard for this page, it provides an easy way for your customer to submit their comments and questions in a manner that also guides them along the way. Simply choose what information you would like your customer to have an opportunity to give you (even choose what they MUST give you) and we will custom design the form to your satisfaction.  A Great tool for Market Research! Comes complete with a confirmation page thanking them for their submission.

Testimonials Page - optional, yet highly recommended
  Do you already have an established track record? Let your customers’ testimonials work for you on this page.

Privacy Policy Page - optional, yet highly recommended
  If you collect data via a Contact Form or through other avenues on your site then you really should have a privacy policy page. Internet users are more conscious about safety and privacy than ever, so this page is a trust-builder and will decrease form submission abandonment.  Don’t know how to write one? Don’t worry, we do.

FAQ Page - optional, highly recommended for certain industries  
  Why is an FAQ page so important? Mostly, it will ensure you won’t have to answer the same questions over and over. This saves time and money by letting your clients service themselves. We recommend soliciting questions on your Contact Us page and through our “Quick Question?” feature, and when you see repeats, turn them into an FAQ for the page.

Portfolio Page(s) - optional
  Portfolio pages are often identified with people in the arts (design, photography, etc) but are now widely used in other fields and often expected by your web visitor. It can serve as a record or your professional development, as proof of performance, show tangibles of what you or your company has accomplished. It is a given that some of this information will appear on your ‘About Us’ page, or that a Portfolio page can even replace it, yet consider using them for each member of your team or to showcase finished jobs or projects.

Article Page(s) - optional
  Creating compelling content and build inbound links at the same time. Articles can be picked up by RSS feeds (the API of the Internet) just like Blogs do, yet articles are usually more polished than blog entries. Every time another website cites your article you get an incoming link and become known as an expert in your field.

Product Page(s) - optional
  Whether you sell online or offline displaying your tangible wares is a good idea. If you choose to use a shopping cart system, this type of page would automatically be included in the cart pages.

Specials Page(s) - optional
  Do you run specials on a regular basis? Having a static link to your specials page improves productivity when switching from one promotion to another. Returning customers will always know where to look for your most recent discounted items.

Gallery Page - optional
  Would you like to displays pictures of events, winners of contests, or just show off your establishment? Galleries can do the trick. Choose from galleries we maintain for you or use a version that offers self administration.

Calendar of Events Page - optional
  Not for everyone, yet for those who do have ongoing events it’s a must! Let customers know when you are having on or offline events, the time, date and duration, recurrence, and even link the calendar specifics to flyers or individual event pages. Individual Events Page(s) -optional
  If you have a yearly event in mind it’s a good idea to showcase it with its own page. You can share highlights of past events and the activities you have planned for the next one.

Press Release Page(s) - optional and advanced
  A Press Release carries a lot of weight, yet you must make sure what is contained in a press release is truly newsworthy.
