business woman"People are definitely a company’s greatest asset. It doesn't make any difference whether the product is cars or cosmetics. A company is only as good as the people it keeps." - Mary Kay Ash

This cannot be overstated...

BUSINESS IS ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS!

All the technology, statistics, marketing and even price wars, are only footnotes supporting this fact.  Ultimately, it will boil down to one thing.... TRUST.

The following modules that we offer, support your willingness to gain that trust and maintain it.  Here are the tools that your TKJ Running START® site can provide you with:

  •  Web Form Library - We offer a simple, four part web form database that enables you to create, edit and delete webforms for your visitors to fill out.  These forms can be attached to any of the pages that you create as well as calendar events that you list.
  • Event Calendar - Many businesses have events that interact with the community that they service.  The TKJ Running START® event calendar module will let you input your upcoming events, attach PDF flyers to each event for your visitors to print as well as attach a webform for them to fill out.  The events are automatically taken out of the listing once the date has come and gone.  You can also specify the date that you would like the event to start being displayed on your site.
  • Press Releases - This is a tried and true method of telling the general public of milestones in the life of your company.  It basically answers the question "What's New?"  The module automatically sorts the information with the most recent entries at the top of the list.  As with the calendar module, you can attach images and PDF documents to the press release.
  • Newsletter Form - Another way to keep the public informed is with a newsletter.  Due to anti-spam legislation, TKJ Consulting strongly suggests the use of mailing list companies such as Constant Contact® and AWeber®.  We can insert a newsletter signup form on your site that will seamlessly register your user to one of the selected mail companies.
  • RSS Feed -An acronym for Really Simple Syndication, R.S.S. is a useful tool to display up to the minute news regarding various subjects, communities and industries.  Depending on what newsfeed you decide to use, it can increase the credibility of your site as a "meeting place" for information.
  • Rotating Banner - If you have a community based site, banner ads can be a profit center to offset your WEB overhead.  For instance, a Church or other place of worship could sell banner ads to various congregation members advertising their business to the rest of the community.  The same goes for a Home Owner's Association or a Chamber of Commerce.  Strategic marketing is a "Win / Win" concept that is extremely prevalent on the Internet.... and for good reason, since it is a community that can span a building, city or planet.  Your TKJ Running START® site randomly displays your banners every time your browser refreshes a page.  You can also specify the dates that a banner will be available for display (great for seasonal banners).
  • Simple PayPal Shopping Cart - PayPal® purchases can be used to sell a small catalog of items such as promotional apparel, merchandise or donations.  TKJ also offers larger eCommerce solutions utilizing a product called Zen Cart to affordably sell as well as showcase online.
  • Testimonials - The best way of achieving credibility with your visitors is with favorable opinions given by people that at one time were new customers too.  This makes the risk of doing business with you not seem so... well, "risky".  Also, asking your existing customer base for a testimonial, solidifies their own patronage to you.  It manifests their positive opinions into something solid.
  • "Yellow Pages" - For Member's lists that are also businesses. Again, this is another way of becoming the "Go To" site for information.  The more people come back to your site, the more they will trust you as a solid source of information.  Remember, business is all about relationships.
  • Google Maps - This has become the defacto tool for geographically locating not only your physical location, but also the location of the various events that you announce on your site.  Once your visitors know where a place or event is, it's that much easier for them to say  "yes".  Your TKJ Running START®  events module has a section for you to place Google Map addresses.  Your visitors can zoom, print, even get step by step directions from where ever they are coming from.

Our programming procedures are such, that you aren't limited to these choices.  We can create a business module for most scenarios at no extra charge.  Remember, ask..ask..ask!
